Why don't I see all the products from Online Wholesaler on my shop?

  1. Online wholesaler is primarily a clearance specialist, which explains why many products sell too quickly and are out of stock rapidly.
  2. To prevent you from selling products that are no longer available from the online wholesaler at the same time, and thus having to reimburse your customers, we have implemented a rule that automatically hides products with low quantities (less than 5).
  3. Make sure you have the latest version of the module and possibly update to the new version (see our explanation on the subject of the same title below).
  4. It is also possible that you have not correctly applied the CRON task (see our explanation on the subject of the same title below).
  5. It is also possible that Grossiste-en-Ligne has reorganized its categories internally, which would then require you to synchronize the new categories on your end using the module (see below).

Can I modify the products myself?

We strongly recommend that you do not modify the catalogue, products or categories, as these are synchronized with Online Wholesaler in real time and could disrupt the proper functioning of your online store.

Can I change the price of a product manually?

Yes, you can absolutely change the price of a product manually in the catalogue; it will not be overwritten by automatic synchronization.

However, if Grossiste-en-Ligne changes the price of this same product, then it will be overwritten at the next automatic synchronization.

Finally, we remind you that the module allows you to automatically add a percentage to the ENTIRE product catalog without having to do it manually, one product at a time. You can also modify the percentage for an entire category differently from another category. Go to the DROP module > CONFIGURE > CATEGORY, then on the right you will find the MARGIN column with the desired percentage for each category.

How long does it take to synchronize all the products of an online wholesaler?

The module synchronizes approximately 250 products per hour to avoid slowing down the server on both the online wholesaler's and your end. It takes about 3 to 4 days to have approximately 18,000 product references with all photos in your store.

Why are so many products showing as Out of Stock?

But it may also correspond to an unavailable variation such as a size, for example: a jacket which has a size M, L and XL may have one size out of stock.

What is a CRON task?

A CRON job is a command line that, much like a robot, executes a given instruction. It's therefore important to set it up so the robot can synchronize the online wholesaler's catalog and its orders. You'll find your site's CRON job in the INFORMATION tab of your module (see screenshot below), which you then need to create on your hosting provider (OVH, IONOS, PLANETHOSTER, etc.) to run every 30 minutes, every day.

I followed the entire procedure correctly, but when I click on "synchronize my order", I get the following error message:Error 1015 dropshipper whithout bilingual profile"
This means that you have either not entered a billing address on your Online Wholesaler seller account or that it is incomplete. Contact us if the problem persists.

How will my customers receive the package tracking number?

It is important to understand that the Drop module does not do this automatically; therefore, you must manually change the order statuses to allow your customers to be kept informed of the progress of their orders and also to track the package using the tracking link. Can I sell products other than those from Grossiste-en-Ligne?

Yes, absolutely, you can create new products from suppliers other than Grossiste-en-Ligne on your PrestaShop store.
However, if a customer adds one product from Grossiste-en-Ligne and another product from Supplier B to their basket, your customer will only pay shipping costs once, but remember that in the end you will have to deliver 2 packages, so you will probably have to revise the prices to compensate for the loss.

Finally, the dropshipping module will not take the product from supplier B during order synchronization, so there is no problem synchronizing the order even with products that are not from Grossiste-en-Ligne.

How do I update my DROPSHIPPER module?

To update the Online Wholesaler DROP module, follow this procedure:
Download the latest version of the module V.1.1.0 from your Dropshipper account or by clicking here The ZIP file > then extract it on your computer.

  1. Use an FTP client like FileZilla
  2. Connect to your website's server
  3. Go to the MODULE>DROPSHIPCLIENT folder
  4. Replace all existing folders/subfolders and files with the latest version on your computer. (*Note: Do not delete, replace the following.)
  5. Once finished, go to your store's back office, find the Drop Client module, and you will see an UPDATE button; click on UPDATE.
  6. Congratulations, it's finished! Your module has been successfully updated and none of your settings have been changed.

Important information regarding your password

When you change or reset your password for your Dropshipper account on Grossiste en ligne, you will break all connection between your store and ours! Therefore, it is essential to prevent this from happening, and if it does, you must quickly change the password in the module as shown below.

Can I sell in the French overseas departments and territories?

Due to carrier reasons that are beyond our control, only Colissimo offers delivery to the French overseas departments and territories.

The drawback is that for IT management reasons it is not possible for you to synchronize your orders to the DOM-TOM, so once the order has been validated by your customer, you must go to your Dropshipper account directly on the Grossiste-en-ligne.com website and place the order manually and enter the customer's address for delivery by Colissimo.
